Lyta signs with Naira Marley, exits Doro Music to join Marlian Record

Nigerian young upcoming artist, Lyta, signs with Naira Marley.  Lyta has been in the news a lot when it comes to his music and most times, it isn’t good news.

This is coming after Popular rapper, Olamide dumped Lyta in 2019.

Kemi Filani News recalls that Lyta’s record deal with YBNL (Olamide’s record label) Nation was made public on 3 February 2018.

Lyta’s breakthrough single with YBNL Nation, titled “Time”, features vocals by Olamide and was released on 14 February 2018.

In 2019, Lyta left YBNL Nation due to contractual and personal issues. After exiting YBNL, he signed with Doro Musik Gang, and released the Killer Tunes-produced track “Monalisa” on 12 July 2019.

Naira Marley took to micro blogging platform, Twitter to make the announcement.

Barely a year after joining Doro Music and releasing his popular single, ‘Monalisa,’ Lyta has once again, moved from the label to pitch his tent with Naira Marley’s new label, Marlian Records. He becomes the fifth act to be signed to Marlian Records after Zinoleesky, Mohbad and two other acts.
