The sweet arresting harmonies of Nigeria’s Tems and GoodGirl La

TEMS

Tems- Prob-1

Beautiful 25-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer Tems (born Temilade Openiyi) has set the industry on fire ever since she came on the scene with her hit single “Mr. Rebel”.

She released two more singles “Looku Looku” and ”Try me”. Her rise has earned Tems her own legion of fans, who call themselves ‘the rebel gang’. She approaches music with the freedom to express and experiment.

Tems is far from the typical break out talent in the Nigerian music industry. According to her, her music undoubtedly comes from her soul and its written “for people who feel misunderstood and wants to be free”.

She writes, sings, and produces her music by herself and when her clutch on these three specialties comes together, it becomes a beautiful whole as you hear on her song “Mr. Rebel”.
